Council’s Community Enforcement Officers & Parking Patrol Officers are on duty seven days a week from as early as 7.30am to 7pm. They are contactable during these times on 9716 1800. After hour calls or emergency calls are taken by Council's call centre on the same number.
Community Enforcement Officers can assist in matters regarding parking, pollution, dumped rubbish, barking or stray dogs, building sites working out of hours and abandoned vehicles (if unregistered).
Community Enforcement Officers cannot assist in matters regarding speeding vehicles, violence, underage drinking, drainage or fallen trees on private property, electrical, gas or water supply emergencies. For these matters contact the Police, SES or private contractors for emergency flooding or fallen trees on private property.
Community Enforcement Officers are identifiable by their uniforms with Ashfield Council shoulder patches.

Parking fines
The State Debt Recovery Office is responsible for the review of penalty representations, the receipt and processing of fines issued by Council and the administering of the fine enforcement system for the collection of unpaid fines.
