Internet PC'sFree WiFi @ your library

Internet access is free and available for 1 hour each day on library PC's by booking.  Patrons need their library card and their Pin number to make a booking. Children are unable to make their own bookings but can make a booking at the library counter if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please be aware that when logging onto library PC's, declining the Internet Use Policy will disable internet access, but will allow Word processing.  If you wish to use the Internet, read the conditions of use policy, and if they are acceptable to you, click the accept button.

Wireless

Wireless Hotspots at Ashfield and Haberfield Libraries provide patrons with access to free wireless broadband. The network allows connection for 250 concurrent users via their own Wireless enabled laptops during library hours. Patrons only require a Wireless enabled laptop to access the Library’s Wireless network during library hours.

Haberfield Library patrons are able to access the Internet in the garden area. The service will be available during library opening hours each day.  For assistance please see Library staff.

Patrons should charge their laptop battery before coming to the library as designated spaces for laptop use with AC power are limited. Library staff will direct patrons not to use undesignated power points where doing so causes either inconvenience to other patrons or creates an Occupational Health and Safety issues such as trip hazards.
