Public Works & Infrastructure
Ashfield Council's public works team is based at the Council's depot in Summer Hill. This team of Council staff is responsible for coordinating and undertaking an extensive range of public works projects, including:
- Road repairs and resurfacing - please see our Road Resurfacing Program for scheduled locations.
- Footpath, kerb and gutter repairs and refurbishment
- Traffic management and traffic calming
- Drainage maintenance and repairs
- Signage throughout the Local Government Area, including street signs, park signs and parking signage
- Construction work throughout the municpality
You will see our public works staff out at work in the community - they are truly the face of Council for many of our residents.
